SMS Terms & Conditions

  1. Program description: By checking the opt-in box on the IBC SMS Messaging screen on the time clock, employees consent to receiving SMS messages to the cell phone number on file with IBC’s HR department. IBC will only send text messages that relate to your work at IBC . These messages include:

    • Companywide alerts (Weather issues, Insurance Enrollment)

    • Shift hour changes (Delayed Starts, Shift Changes)

    • Department information.

  2. Frequency: Less than 6 messages will be sent per week.

  3. Opt-out: You can cancel the IBC Corporaton Employee Alerts at any time. Just reply back with: STOP. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you a SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from the IBC Corporaton Employee Alerts . You can also cancel the IBC Corporaton Employee Alerts messaging by unchecking the consent box on the IBC Corporaton Employee Alerts opt-in screen on the time clock. If you want to join again, please recheck the opt-in box on the IBC Corporaton Employee Alerts opt-in screen.

  4. Number Removal: When your employment with IBC ends, you will be removed from the IBC Corporaton Employee Alerts messaging program and your number will be permanently deleted from the messaging system.

  5. Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at hr@ibcwire.com or call the front office at 508-238-7941.

  6. Interruption: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

  7. Cost: Message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
